Men's Tennis Blanked by #14-ranked Norse
Apr 7, 2018
DECORAH, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's tennis dropped to 0-2 in the Iowa Conference on Saturday, after losing to the #14-ranked (region) Luther Colege Norse 0-9.
The Midwest cold temperatures moved the match indoors and the host Norse (13-2 overall) would lose just three games in the singles to dominate the Iowa Conference tilt. The evening before the Norse beat #15-ranked UW-Eau Claire by a match score of 7-2. The Spartans fall to 2-8 overall and 0-2 in the league.
The schedule doesn't get any easier as UD will travel to face #8-ranked (region) Coe College (16-4 overall, 4-0 in IIAC) on April 10 at 4:00 p.m.
