Meyer Tabbed Second Team All-Iowa Conference

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – University of Dubuque senior Abbey Meyer was the lone UD women’s basketball player to earn All-Iowa Conference honors for the 2017-17 season, after being named Second Team All-Iowa Conference on Wednesday.

In her senior campaign, Meyer (Benard, Iowa) led the Spartans with a scoring average of 15.1 points per game and 3.6 assists per game. Meyer also grabbed 137 rebounds for 5.7 per game and 50 steals in 2018.

Meyer closes out her UD career with 100 games played, the 16th Spartan in program history to reach that mark. Over her four years, Meyer tallied 1,061 points, for 11th most in school history, 270 assists, which are fifth most in school history and 402 rebounds.
