University of Dubuque to Host Annual Great River Wind Symphony

DUBUQUE, Iowa – University of Dubuque will host the annual Great River Wind Symphony on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 7:30 p.m. in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center.

Approximately 100 students from Clarke University, Loras College, and UD will come together to form the annual Great River Wind Symphony in a concert celebrating collegiate bands of the Mississippi River. The 10th annual concert will be directed by David Resnick, MM, instructor of music and director of bands at Clarke; Glenn Pohland, DMA, associate professor of music at Loras; and Benjamen Blasko, assistant professor of music and director of instrumental ensembles at UD.
