Volleyball Continues to Collect Postseason Accolades

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Members of the University of Dubuque volleyball team continue to gain postseason honors. Karrah Davis was named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American and AVCA All-Central Region and Jenna Runde was named CoSIDA Academic All-District.

Karrah Davis (Dubuque, Iowa/Hempstead) was named AVCA All-Central Region and AVCA Honorable Mention All-American. Dubuque's Davis led the conference in kills per set with a 4.58 average during league play. In 106 sets this season, Davis collected 488 kills (4.60 kills per set) and 18 total blocks. Davis was selected to her second All-Iowa Conference team this season. Davis was one of two Iowa Conference players to earn AVCA All-American honors.

Jenna Runde (Elgin, Ill./Burlington Central ) got it done not only on the court but in the classroom. Runde was named Academic All-District with a 3.91 GPA while majoring in Pre-Education, K-12 Health and K-12 Physical Education. She was one of four Iowa Conference members to be selected to the list. On the court, the junior libero led the Spartans and was third in the Iowa Conference with 535 digs (4.61 per game) in 34 matches.
