Women's Golf Fourth in Tune Up for IIAC Championships

INDIANOLA, Iowa - In their final meet before the Iowa Conference Championships, the University of Dubuque women's golf team finished fourth at the Simpson Fall Invite.
As a team, the Spartans shot a 354 (+70) and had three golfers tied for 13th place and a fourth right behind them at 19th place. Daniela Miranda, Elizabeth Stalla and Madeline Sturm were the three UD golfers that finished in 13th place with a score of 88 (+17). Caroline Giorgi finished +19 shooting a 90. Hannah Hamann rounded out the lineup for UD with a 99 (+28) and finishing tied for 33rd.
The Spartans are at the first weekend of the Iowa Conference Championships this weekend in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. The first tee time is set for 10:00 a.m on Friday and 9:00 a.m on Saturday.
