Women's Soccer Drops Road Contest At Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The University of Dubuque women's soccer team dropped the second game of a back to back, losing to UW-Oshkosh 3-0.

How it Happened
-On the first shot of the game by either team, UW-Oshkosh's Mallory Knight found the back of the net to give Oshkosh a 1-0 lead in the 6th minute.
-Alexa Martin fired UD's first shot of the game in the 15th minute but it was saved by Oshkosh's goalkeeper.
-The score stayed 1-0 in favor of Oshkosh at halftime, despite UD taking two more shots than Oshkosh.
-Both of Oshkosh's second half goals came on penalty kicks.
-UD outshot Oshkosh 18-11 and 10 of UD's shot went on goal.
