Andresen A-R-C Offensive Player of the Week

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – University of Dubuque junior, Rylee Andresen, was honored on Monday with American Rivers Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after the Spartans 5-0 week.
Andresen (Oxford Junction, Iowa/Midland) had 50 kills (2.94 kills per set) and a hitting percentage of .369 in the five wins. She was more than a force on offense, on the defensive side she added 16 total blocks, four solo and 12 assists. The Spartans produced wins over Illinois Wesleyan (3-0), North Park (3-2), Kalamazoo (3-1), Millikin (3-1) and Wheaton (3-0).
This is the fourth time this season that a Spartan has been offensive or defensive A-R-C Player of the Week (Andresen (2x), Jenna Runde and Kara Wright).
UD is back in action on Tuesday night when they host UW-Platteville at 7:00 p.m. in the Stoltz Sports Center for Breast Cancer Awareness Night.
