Brown Named First Team All-North Region

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches announced their all-region teams on Monday night, naming UD sophomore Carissa Brown to the Division III First Team All-North Region.
The sophomore from Oswego, Illinois grabbed All-North Region honors for the second straight year after earning second team honors as a freshman in 2017. Brown helped the Spartan backline be one of the best defensive teams in the conference in 2018, limiting opponents to just 20 goals over 19 games in 2018. Brown found the back of the net once this year for one goal on just six shot attempts.
Brown was the lone student-athlete from the American Rivers Conference to make First Team All-North Region, with seven A-R-C athletes on the second and third teams.
