Men's Basketball End 2018 with a Road Win

MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's basketball team ended the night with four Spartans in double digit scoring to end their 2018 season with a 80-63 road win over Iowa Wesleyan.
UD shot nearly 50% from the field after making 32-65 shot attempts. The Spartans would struggle at the charity stripe, sinking just 8-16 attempts. Michael Williams led all scorers with 16 points and added six rebounds. Peter Ragen added 14 points, Mitch Burger had 13 points, and Marcus McDaniel finished with 11 points. UD out rebounded the hosts 35-30.
The Spartans (9-3 overall) will be off until the new year when they travel to Pella, Iowa to face the Central College Dutch when UD returns to American Rivers Conference play on Jan. 2.
