Men's Golf Finish Fourth at A-R-C Championships

LINCOLN, Neb. - The University of Dubuque men's golf team would make a charge the final weekend of the 2019 American Rivers Conference Men's Golf Championships, but a bad first round would hamper their overall finish. UD would shoot a 305 in the final round of play to finish fourth overall with a team score of 938 after three rounds of action (the second round of play was cancelled due to weather).
UD would have two Spartans finish in the medal round to be named All-Conference. Brady Ellis placed sixth overall after shooting rounds of 80, 76, 74 for a 230 score. Teammate Garvin Paper would place 10th overall after finishing the tournament with rounds of 82, 75, 76 for a score of 233. Other scorers for the Spartans inlcuded: Jordan Elliott (86-75-79-240/tied for 17th place), Kane Hyde (82-78-81-241/tied for 19th place), and Peyton Keefer (85-83-76-244/tied for 25th place).
