Men's Golf Finish Third at Nebraska Wesleyan Invite

LINCOLN, Neb. - The University of Dubuque men's golf finished third overall after the final round of the Nebraska Wesleyan University Invitational on Monday, April 15. The Spartans finished with a round of 317 at Hillcrest Country Club in Lincoln, Neb.
UD was led in scoring by Kane Hyde who carded a 146 (tied for fourth place). Jordan Elliott tied for 16th (153), Brady Ellis tied for 19th (154), Peyton Keeffer tied 24th (156), and Garvin Paper tied for 34th (160). Individuals: Jason Sikkema tied for 22nd (155), Connor Michels and Wyatt Wagner tied for 41st (162), and Levi Swanson tied for 51st (166).
UD carded a first round 292 to tie for the lead on the opening day of the Nebraska Wesleyan University Invitational on Sunday. Hyde led all scorers by shooting a one under Par 70 at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course. The Spartans will see the Hillcrest Country Club course again in the final two rounds of the American Rivers Conference Championships on May 3-4. The first two rounds of the American Rivers Conference Championships will be played at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa on May 26-27.
