Men's Golf Fourth at Clarke University Fall Invite

GALENA, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's golf team placed fourth and fifth at the 2018 Clarke University Fall Invite (13 teams) on Friday, Oct. 5. with scores of 317 and team B with a score of 318. Shooting low score of the afternoon for the Spartans on the Eagle Ridge Resort South Course was Garvin Paper who entered the clubhouse with a score of 75 and tied for 2nd overall. Originally scheduled for Sept. 5, the meet finished up as light rain began to fall in the territories.
The Spartans are off until Oct. 22 and 23 when they compete in the prestigious 2018 Whistling Straights Championship in Kohler, Wis. which has hosted three PGA Championships and the 2020 Ryder Cup.
