Men's Golf Tied for 14th in Opening Round of Whistling Straits

KOHLER, Wis. - The University of Dubuque men's golf team opened up play at the 2018 Whistling Straits Intercollegiate Championships on Monday and finished the first day tied for 14th overall after firing a 330. Anthony Mendoza led the Spartans and shot an 80 and is tied for 42nd overall. Round two will begin on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. The first day allowed just two eagles on a very challenging course.
