Spartans Fall to A-R-C Champs in Women's Tennis

The University of Dubuque women's tennis team celebrated Senior Day on Tuesday night, due to rain the match vs.
the Wartburg College Knights was moved inside and played in the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center.
DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis team wrapped up their regular season American Rivers Conference play on Tuesday night against the 2018 conference champions, the Wartburg College Knights by a 1-8 score. The Spartans battled the conference leader for over four hours in a 1-8 loss to the Knights and captured the #2 doubles match 9-8. UD honored the trio of seniors on Senior Day: Naomi Amani, Madeline Parker, and Megan Ranney who all played their final regular season conference match.
This weekend, Oct. 12-13 UD will play in the A-R-C individual and doubles tournament held in Ankeny, Iowa.
