Tickets on Sale Monday for Jordan Davis at Heritage Center

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Tickets for Jordan Davis will go on sale Monday, March 25, at 10:00 a.m. The man who recently won Best New Country Artist at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards will perform Friday, May 10, at 8:00 p.m. in John and Alice Butler Hall, University of Dubuque Heritage Center.

A new voice in the country scene, Jordan Davis has seen success on the back of two hit singles from his 2018 debut album Home State. His first single, “Singles You Up,” took the country airwaves by storm, reaching No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and landing on Spotify’s all-genre Global Viral 50 chart. He scored another hit single with “Take It From Me,” which peaked in the top 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts.
Jordan Davis is a Shreveport-born, Nashville-weathered creative soul with his feet firmly planted in two different eras. The imagery in his songs relies on the same specificity behind such classic, lyrically-driven songwriters as John Prine, Jim Croce, and Bob McDill. But the tech-tinged production and silvery phrasing in those same songs embodies the genre-defying musicality of such current acts as Eric Church, Sam Hunt, and Lady Antebellum.
Kyle Mitchell will perform as the opening act. Blending traditional country, Americana, and blue-eyed soul, he has spent several years on the live circuit and in the studio. His current hit is “One in Georgia.”
