Women's Golf 2nd at Clarke University Fall Invite

Daniela Miranda finished second overall after Sunday's final round at Clarke University Fall Invitational at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, Ill.

GALENA, Ill. - The University of Dubuque women's golf team opened the first day of the 2018 Clarke University Fall Invite with a round of 355 to tie for third place. UD's Daniela Miranda fired a round of 84 to tie for fourth. Teammate Maddie Sturm is tied for sixth place after shooting a round of 86.

On the final round on Sunday, the Spartans finished with a score of 352 to end the meet with a score of 707 to finish second. UD's Miranda finished second after winning tie break and trailed medalist by just seven strokes.

Eagle Ridge Resort (South Course - a Par 72) with seven teams and 40 competitors.
