Women's Golf Tied for Lead in A-R-C Championships After Three Rounds

DECORAH, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's golf team held their ground on Saturday and ended the day tied for the lead after three rounds of the 2018 American Rivers Championships with Central College at 980. UD shot rounds of 327-322-331 to enter the final round with a shot at winning their first ever women's golf championship.

"Super excited for our ladies to have a chance for a conference championship and that's one of our team goals when we started this season," stated head coach Dustin Bierman. "Weather held off and I believed we hung in there today to give us a chance on the final day. Extremely happy for our team, Sunday leaves us a very good opportunity to end this season with something special, the school's first ever women's golf title."

Sunday's pairing begin at 9 a.m. with groups 7,8,9 teeing off first. UD will be the last grouping to tee off.
