Beeman Named A-R-C Athlete of the Week

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – On Monday afternoon, the American Rivers Conference named Alison Beeman Women’s Track and Field – Track Athlete of the Week, as well as Female Athlete of the Week.
At the UD Spartan Invite on Friday, Feb. 21st, the senior from Lombard, Ill., posted the top time in Division III this season and the 10th best time in NCAA Division III history in the 200m dash, winning the event in 24.49 to beat the defending national champion. Beeman followed that up by breaking the school record in the 55m dash on her way to a third place finish in 7.10. She rounded out her impressive performance with a second place finish in the high jump after a top jump of 5-01.75.
