Just Announced: Ace Jones to Perform Pre-Show Concert Before REZA: Edge of Illusion

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Ace Jones will perform a free pre-show concert from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, on Knapp Stage in CyberCafè, Heritage Center, on the University of Dubuque campus. The performance precedes REZA: Edge of Illusion at 8:00 p.m. in John and Alice Butler Hall as part of the seventh annual Live at Heritage Center Performing Arts Series.

Ace Jones is a singer-songwriter from Marion, Iowa, who tours the country and performs at some of the biggest fairs and festivals in the United States. His eclectic mix of original covers, which range from folk, pop, country, and punk rock, are sure to capture the curiosity of all ages.

After the pre-show concert, REZA: Edge of Illusion will perform in Butler Hall. REZA has taken the art of illusion to a new level, delivering a rock concert style magic show with state-of-the-art production elements and interactive moments. Audiences can expect to witness illusions such as passing through the spinning blades of an industrial fan, a record breaking recreation of Houdini’s most famous stunt, and the appearance of a real helicopter, live on stage.

Tickets for REZA: Edge of Illusion are $15-$25 in advance, $20-$30 day of show for general public; $12-$22 in advance, $17-$27 day of show for affiliates (alumni, military, and veterans); and $10 in advance, $15 day of show for children and students.
