Miranda, Women’s Golf Lead After Opening Day

DIKE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque Spartans women’s golf team leads the team score of Luther Norse Classic after the first day by one stroke and Daniela Miranda leads by one stoke among all individuals after a round of 74.
Miranda leads all scorers after an opening round of 74, with Madison Bowers being thr second best Spartan with a round of 80 for an 11th place finish heading into the second and final round. Madeline Sturm, Megan Gille and Courtney Olson will enter the final round 16th through 18th in the individual standings after rounds of 81 and 82.
Caroline Giorgi (+13), along with Mary Edwards and Sydney Killeen with rounds of +14 and Kaylee O’Donnell with a +22 (94) will send the Spartans into the final round with a one stoke lead on the team side heading into tomorrow morning
