MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The University of Dubuque men’s soccer team went on the road and came away with an impressive 1-0 win over the MSOE Raiders.

How It Happened
-It took nine minutes for either team to take a shot and it was UD’s Joe Johansson to take the first one but it was save. Just a minute later, Andrew Gulle got another good look for the Spartans but thwas also was saved.
-The Spartans dominated the first half of the game, attempting seven shots, six of which went on goal, however they had nothing to show for it as the Raiders saved all six UD shots on net.
-The UD attack continued to apply the pressure on the Raider back end, firing off the first four shots of the first half.
-On the fifth shot of the second half, the Spartans finally broke through when Axel Aaman slid a pass through to Glorie Luwara, who tucked it away into the back of the net to lift UD to a 1-0 lead in the 62nd minute.
-After only attempting one shot in the first half, the MSOE offense was brought alive by the UD goal, but the UD defense held its ground and kept the Raiders off the scoreboard for the full 90 minutes to give UD a 1-0 victory.
