UD Athletic Schedule Changes

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque has announced several changes to upcoming games and events. The NCAA has also canceled all remaining winter and spring national championships, effective immediately.
Cancellations this weekend include the NCAA Track and Field Championships and men's lacrosse at Johnson and Wales in Denver. Tuesday, March 17th baseball doubleheader against Marian has been postponed with no makeup date set. Saturday, March 21st men’s lacrosse home game against Illinois Tech has been cancelled.

"Today, NCAA President Mark Emmert and the Board of Governors canceled the Division I men’s and women’s 2020 basketball tournaments, as well as all remaining winter and spring NCAA championships. This decision is based on the evolving COVID-19 public health threat, our ability to ensure the events do not contribute to spread of the pandemic, and the impracticality of hosting such events at any time during this academic year given ongoing decisions by other entities."
American Rivers Conference
The conference's Presidents Council will be discussing spring-sports scheduling within the next 24 hours and will release an official statement at the appropriate time.
