Women's Golf Claim Prairie Fire Classic

GALESBURG, Ill. — The Knox College Prairie Fire women's golf team hosted the Knox College Women's Golf Invitational on Sept. 21-22. The tournament started on Saturday, but was suspended due to lightning and wet conditions and resumed on Sunday. After play resumed, the teams finished round one and the second round was cancelled due to course conditions. The Spartans captured the team title with a score of 325. The Spartans Madison Bowers tied for runner-up medalist honors with a round of 78.
