Oct 9, 2020 | University Relations staff

DUBUQUE, Iowa – University of Dubuque Heritage Center will continue its Live(stream) with Heritage Center series this month with Alpin Hong at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at @UDBQMedia on YouTube.

Held this fall, Live(stream) with Heritage Center is an opportunity for viewers to meet the artists behind the music through Heritage Center’s social media. The series features interviews by Heritage Center staff with special guest artists and live music presentations. Each episode is approximately 45 minutes.

As a famed and fine-tuned pianist, Hong has made a career sharing his combination of stunning technique, emotional range, and rare humor around the world on stages such as Walt Disney Hall, the White House, and – you guessed it – Heritage Center. In recent years, he also appeared as a guest solo artist with the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra.

Heritage Center’s staff will interview Hong and stream an exclusive, live showcase performance. The livestream will also include a special surprise guest.

Live(stream) with Heritage Center can be viewed at @UDBQMedia on YouTube. While the series is free, donations are welcome through the Friends of Heritage Center at https://www.dbq.edu/HeritageCenter/BecomeaFriendofHeritageCenter/.
