DUBUQUE, Iowa – University of Dubuque Heritage Center will continue its new Live(stream) with Heritage Center series this month with The Landscape of Guitar: The Animated Painting Concert Experience at noon Monday, Aug. 17, at https://www.facebook.com/Universityofdubuqueheritagecenter/.

Held throughout the fall, Live(stream) with Heritage Center is an opportunity to meet the artist behind the music on Facebook. The series features interviews by Heritage Center staff with special guest artists and live music presentations. Each livestream is approximately 45 minutes.

Master guitarist Bruce Hecksel and singer-songwriter Julie Patchouli are revered in the arts community for their integration of original digital arts they have created to accompany their music.

The Heritage Performing Arts Advisory Committee, comprised of UD students, adored the musical pair after seeing them at the Arts Midwest Conference and voted to bring them to Heritage Center in spring 2021. Live(stream) with Heritage Center serves as a preview of The Landscape of Guitar’s full-length that is tentatively planned for Live at Heritage Center Performing Arts Series in spring 2021.

Live(stream) with Heritage Center is free, but donations are welcome through the Friends of Heritage Center link at https://www.dbq.edu/HeritageCenter/BecomeaFriendofHeritageCenter/.
