Honoring Recovery Month with Brandon Novak
Join Hillcrest Family Services for an inspiring evening with Brandon Novak from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2026, in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center. This event honoring Recovery Month is free and open to the public.
Once a skateboarding prodigy and star of Jackass and Viva La Bam, Novak's life was eventually consumed by addiction. Today, he has over 11 years of sobriety and travels the world sharing his story.
Following Novak's presentation, a panel of local experts will take the stage to discuss the realities of addiction within the community, the resources available, and how everyone can play a role in supporting individuals and families affected by addiction.
Whether addiction has touched your life personally, impacted someone you care about, or you simply want to learn more about the topic, this event will offer valuable insight, encouragement, and hope.
Registration is encouraged at https://honoring-recovery-month-with-brandon-novak.eventbrite.com.
