Drop Off, Pick Up and Parking Information
Please arrange to have your student arrive by 12:15 p.m. each day.
Classes begin promptly at 12:30 p.m.
DROPPING STUDENTS OFF
We will be using the grass field between buildings marked #2 and #3 on the map. Those buildings are Smith Hall and Stoltz Sports Center.
For the safety of all students, we require, if you are dropping off your student from your vehicle, do so only on the EAST side of McCormick Street. We do not want kids crossing the street because of the amount of traffic during drop off time.
If you are parking and walking your student to the grass area between #2 and #3, crossing guards will be provided to cross McCormick Street. Parking is available in the parking lot near the Heritage Center. There is also parking in the lot off McCormick Street near the former Hardee's Restaurant.
In case of rain students will gather in the McCormick Gym, #4 on map.
NOTE: Students enrolled in the Aviation courses will meet all five days at the airport at the UD Flight Operations Center at the Dubuque Regional Airport.
PICKING STUDENTS UP
Classes end at 4:00 p.m. Students will return to the grass area between buildings #2 and #3 for pick up.
You must sign your child out each day with the classroom assistant.
The City of Dubuque requires that you do not park on McCormick Street to pick up your child. There is no curbside pick up after classes. Please park in the McCormick Street parking lots, and arrange to walk your child back to your vehicle. Crossing guards will be available at the McCormick Street parking lots.
In case of rain students will be picked up at McCormick Gym, #4 on map.
