The University of Dubuque invites applications for the position of Director of Seminary Vocation, beginning January, 2022. We are looking for an individual who is excited by the opportunity to accompany seminary students in their formation throughout their years of study and into post-graduate placement. Primary responsibilities include field education, teaching ministry practicum courses, placement, academic affairs and oversight of seminary advising, and seminary accreditation assessment. Additional responsibilities include advising students, overseeing Presbyterian PC(USA) ordination exams, and participating in the broader life of the seminary and church. Qualifications include a master’s degree (a doctoral degree in a theologically-related field is preferred), experience in ministry, and teaching experience.  For candidates with the appropriate qualifications, this position will have faculty status.
