High School Honor Band

2024 Honor Band nominations are closed.

The University of Dubuque High School Honor Band will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024. This all-day event is an opportunity for 100 band students in grades 9-12 to spend a day making music with University of Dubuque band faculty Nolan Hauta, DMA, and Evan Glickman, DMA. The event will culminate with a student concert held in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center at 7:00 p.m.

Students must be nominated by their band director and be selected to participate. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, October 27, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Accepted students will be notified at the end of November.

This event is free of charge. Students will receive a campus tour as part of their experience. Lunch will be provided.
