The Division of Health and Wellness Sciences prepares students to understand, promote, and contribute to human health and well-being through the integration of scientific knowledge, health-related practice, and wellness education. Biomedical Science provides a strong foundation in biological and chemical sciences for students pursuing careers in healthcare, research, biotechnology, and clinical laboratory science, as well as graduate study and research. Medical Science integrates foundational knowledge in biology, chemistry, anatomy, and physiology to prepare students for further professional education in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physician assistant studies, and related health professions, as well as opportunities in biomedical innovation.
