The University of Dubuque and Northeast Iowa School of Music is pleased to announce Treble Fest on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 2:00 - 5:30 p.m. at Heritage Center, University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa.

The event is open to all high school, college, and adult treble-voiced singers. Participants will have an opportunity to work with music professionals Kristen Eby, Jill Klinebriel, and Terry Slade, and collaborate with Heartland Harmony, Julien Chamber Choir, and University of Dubuque treble singers.

Designed to empower and encourage life-long singing, Treble Fest welcomes all who sing in the treble range to participate. The festival will celebrate the joys of singing in a fun and nurturing environment. No formal musical training is necessary to participate.

The $10.00 per participant registration fee includes the workshop, printed choral music, and an afternoon snack. Participants are asked to bring a black 3-ring binder and a water bottle. Performance attire is concert black - black dress pants, slacks, skirt, or dress (skirt length at the knee or longer), black socks or opaque stockings/tights, and black shoes.

Treble Fest will conclude with a free public concert presentation by Heartland Harmony, Julien Chamber Choir, and University of Dubuque treble singers, and collaborative performances featuring Treble Fest participants singing in massed chorus with the choral groups. The concert is open to the public and will be held at 4:30 p.m., on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center, University of Dubuque, 2255 Bennett Street, Dubuque, Iowa.
