UD Students Volunteer at Almost Home

Dust clouded the room as Sharon Boer, University of Dubuque junior from Oskaloosa, Iowa, removed water-damaged ceiling tiles from a local homeless shelter on Wednesday. Thirteen UD students volunteered with eight John Deere Financial sales leadership team members from Des Moines, Iowa, and Canada to replace ceiling tiles and insulation, paint walls, and remove dilapidated items from Almost Home. Almost Home, a Dubuque homeless shelter for men that strives to help them find jobs and permanent housing, was in need of repair and volunteers.

UD Students Deliver Water in Flint
