Scholar Teams of the Year and All-Academic Team honors for the 2016-17 NCAA Division III Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field seasons were announced Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The University of Dubuque women's track and field team earned the prestigious academic honor in 2017 along with 12 individuals who earned All-Academic honors.

The University of Dubuque women's soccer team was selected to finish tied for sixth in the 2017 Iowa Conference season by the coaches pre-season poll. UD finished with 29 points after finishing 6-10-1 overall last season and 2-6 in the IIAC.
