Spartans Victorious in Key City Clash

The University of Dubuque improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the Iowa Conference after a narrow victory Saturday night in the Key City Clash over the Loras College Duhawks 27-24 in front of one of the largest crowds ever at Chalmers Field. It was the seventh consecutive victory for the Spartans who will keep the key for another year.

Women's Golf 2nd at Benedictine Fall Invite

The University of Dubuque women's golf team finished second (341-350-691) at the Benedictine University Fall Invite on Sunday, Sept. 17. The Spartans Daniela Miranda was runner-up medalist after finishing with a first round of 79 to tie for the top and help the Spartans lead by five strokes over the field on Saturday, Sept. 16. She finished with a round of 74 to finish two shots out of medalist honors.
