Softball Sweeps and Secures American Rivers Conference Tournament Spot

The University of Dubuque softball team needed a sweep to help secure a spot in the 2019 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Tournament which begins next weekend. UD would rally back in both games against the Nebraska Wesleyan University Prairie Wolves to collect the weekend sweep, winning game one by a 2-1 score and the nightcap 8-4.

The University of Dubuque baseball team heads into the American Rivers Conference Tournament as the #4 seed and will open the tournament on Thursday, May 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Mercy's Robert W. Plaster Athletic Complex in Cedar Rapids against Central College. The tournament runs Thursday, May 9th through Saturday, May 11th with Sunday, May 12th being used as a rain date. All games but the UD-Central will be played at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium, the home of the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
